# What happened in August and September
Over the past two months, our efforts have largely taken place behind the scenes. This means fewer visible posts with photos of meetings or events on our social media channels. However, this less public work may be the most critical for driving meaningful change. Our focus has been on three key areas:

- [Patient Organizations](#foreninger)
- [Academic and Research Communities](#fag)
- [Social Media and Outreach](#some)

## Patient Organizations
Building political momentum requires broad support, which is why we’re actively engaging with patient advocacy groups. In recent months, we’ve prioritized outreach to 10 key organizations to arrange meetings with their leadership and expert teams. Stigma and misconceptions remain significant barriers, so we encourage our followers to help us break down these walls. New endorsements will be shared on our social media as they come in.

## Academic and Research Communities
To launch the pilot study—a prerequisite for the trial program—we need researchers willing to contribute. We’ve been working to identify and connect with potential collaborators in the academic community. Prejudice persists here as well, but we’re pleased to share that two researchers from Norwegian universities have now agreed to join the effort. More details will follow in the coming weeks.

## Social Media and Outreach
Strength in numbers accelerates progress. Since May, we’ve concentrated on raising awareness about the trial program and medical cannabis across our social platforms. During this period, our follower count has grown from 1,700 to 2,400. We continue to ask for your help in sharing our posts and inviting others to follow our pages. Additionally, we’re finalizing our website, where a wealth of new information and resources will soon be available.
